Erica Cerra is a Canadian actor who was born on October 31, 1979. She's best known as the actress of Eureka which is a Syfy show. Cerra is from Italian descent and was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. The actress was attracted to acting as young as eight years old and was featured in many commercials as a child. For a time she paused her acting, but returned to it in 2001, at the age of 22. Cerra was ranked among Vancouvers five hottest up-and-coming actresses in Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine in 2005. Cerra played deputy Jo Lupo on the Syfy television show Eureka which ran between 2006 and 2012. In 2006, Cerra also played the role of lead in The Michael Buble music video Save the Last Dance for Me. Cerra had prominent roles on numerous well-known and highly respected TV programs, such as Battlestar Galactica. Cerra is a regular in a number of important film productions, such as Man About Town starring Ben Affleck alongside Rebecca Romijn and Blade:Trinity starring Wesley Snipes. Cerra's body and face were utilized to create Ashley Williams, a character of her role in the Mass Effect video game franchise. Khondabi noted that she had been married Joey Scribner Howard, her best friend from high school who is a mechanical engineering within the energy utilities sector. Khondabi stated that Joey and her first met in the classroom at Greenwood Christian School, and they remained close for several years before starting to meet in high school senior year. Howard relocated to Irmo and then graduated in Dutch Fork High School but the two Khondabi continued to be friends, and later started dating.
