Rose was awarded the Women's Strawweight Champion as well as the title of Fighter of The Night. This was the first time a woman competed against a major promotion to win a championship. Namajunas had a number of wins following the fight, and she was awarded Performance Of The Night by UFC in her fights against Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
